Natsuki Takaya
Natsuki Takaya (a pen name, actually) was born on a 7th of July, in Shizuoka. She grew up in Tokyo, where she still lives. She made her manga debut with Sickly Boy Wa Hi ni Yowai, which was serialized in Hana toYume, in 1992. She then created « Born Free » (released in Hana toYume?s « Panet Zoukan » special issue, in 1992).

Her first series was called Geneimusou (1994). It was first supposed to be a one-shot, but it is actually 5 volumes long. Then came Tsubasa o motsu mono (1995), and Fruits Basket (1998).
At the 25th Kodensha Manga Awards, Fruits Basket was awarded ?Best Shojo?, and was adapted in anime in 2001.

A few tips :
You should write your letter in Japanese, or in English. If you write in English, please try to add a few japanese words.
- Takaya Sensei usually writes back, especially to those who don?t ask for a reply.
- Takaya Sensei loves chocolate, and little gifts.
