Will there be a second season to the anime?
No second season has been planned so far.
Since 2001, Studio Deen has constantly been denying all rumors regarding a second season.
As soon as (or rather, if) we have news, we will inform you in this section. In the meantime, please try not to put too much trust in information coming from improbable sources.
How many FB volumes will there be?
According to Akata, there should be 22 volumes of FB.
Is FB a manga meant for girls only?
Not at all. In Japan, FB is serialized in a magazine specialized in mystery stories (Hana to Yume).It is not really considered a shojo (as opposed to series released in Ribbon Magazine, for instance). Even though there is a romantic aspect to the story, it is pretty much attenuated and it?s just another part of the plot in Furuba (whereas in a ?real? shojo, love/romance is the main aspect of the plot). Because of that, FB appeals to boys as much as to girls.
What is FB?s publication rate in Japan?
A new Furuba chapter comes out twice a month in ?Hana to Yume? magazine, with a break of one month every 6 chapters.
Natsuki Takaya might slow down her rhythm as the end of the story comes near, though. Mangaka often do that, it allows them to prepare the conclusion of events in their stories.
