Cosplaying (Costume play), for fans of anime and manga, consists of dressing up as their favorite character, masquerading and often participating in a very minutious roleplay.
In Japan, Cosplay is a very popular activity, many times a year cosplayers attend conventions (during Anime salons and expositions for instance) in which they can show their costumes, pose for pictures and participate in contests.
Of course there are many kinds of cosplay in every country, however we?ll keep at Japanese cosplayers in this section (since, truth to be said, Japanese cosplayers are the best).
